Makes A Difference
Habitat Student Builders is a movement within Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity designed to engage middle and high school students in Habitat’s mission. While construction volunteering can be limited by age, Student Builders are able to organize fundraisers, participate in community awareness, build projects for the houses (such as window boxes) and more.
The four main goals of the Habitat Student Builders are:
Provide leadership roles for young people
Involve diverse youth from different organizations, faiths, and backgrounds working together in meaningful volunteer roles
Raise funds to support programs at Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity
Engaging youth people in Habitat’s mission and in their local communities
